Ruby Red - Kerstin Gier I loved the inventive magic system in this book. The translation got a little clunky sometimes, especially as it's done in British English and not American English (not that one is better then the other, but I don't get British as easily). I really appreciated how strong and adapatable Gwen is0, and how she doesn't rely on Gidion to make her choices for her. I loved, loved, loved how she had her own life and ideals. I look forward to the next book!
