Birthmarked - Caragh M. O'Brien

Don't get me wrong, I love YA. But there are times when the genre wears on me a bit. I want a little bit less guilt and a little bit more a
Self-awareness. More plot development. In Birthmarked I got everything I could have asked for. This dystopian society has interesting footings in real life that really made me think. I'm really grateful to the author for the chance I had to get caught up in this book.
