Legend - Marie Lu

June and Day live on opposite sides of the line. On one side is the Republic, a country that is located over the Southern half of the United States. June is a genius who is being trained to serve in the military day is a criminal who fights against the Republic and everything June believes. Yet he is the only person who can tell her the truth about her brothers death and expose the lies that have ripped her whole family away from her.
This was a really interesting take on a future US. June and Day were interesting characters that were easily understood. My only complaint would be that the story felt too brief. There were a lot of things that were glossed over to keep up the quick pace. I'm excited for the next book.
