Life Eternal - Yvonne Woon The writing really shines in Life Eternal, the sequel to Dead Beautiful. Yvonne Woon is a very talented wordsmith and as she stretches to fill the freedom that a sequel gives I was able to enjoy the best part of reading Dead Beautiful without the genre hangups that go along with it.
That having been said, there's a reason this book is four stars out of five. The plot of the first book is based on shock value since we're all going to freak out about un-dead teens . This one tried to do something similar but I really didn't feel it. Mostly I was wondering where the a) new school and b) nine sisters plot came from and why I should care.
