Kill Me Softly - Sarah Cross Not bad, but not great either, Kill Me Softly is a modern world full of fairy tales. These aren't surprise stories, but neatly categorized designations that leave everyone with a future but no one with hope. When Mirabelle returns to the town she was taken from as a baby she discovers that she's one of them, and now she's in for the fight of her life. Things are further complicated by brothers Felix and Blue. I liked Mirabelle and I found her love story sweet and a little funny. I seriously had Good Girl by Carrie Underwood on the brain when the bad boy makes a mess of things. On the other hand there's so many possibilities that she didn't explore and it felt like she limited the characters from being truly real because of it. At the end I felt a little short changed.
