If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) - Gayle Forman You know how when your watching an incredibly complex skating routine or gymnastics set and it's so beautiful and effortless you feel like it's something that is completely inherent in the human body? That's how I felt when I was reading this book. I know that the writer probably slaved over this story in the way all the rest of us do. That it went through ugly first drafts and complex revisions. But when I read it I felt like it was something so inherently beautiful and natural that it's always existed somewhere and it was just waiting for someone to write it. I can't imagine a higher complement that I could pay then to say "Ms Forman, when I read your book I didn't see you at all. To me, Mia was real".
