Tricks of the Trade - Laura Anne Gilman Tricks of the Trade takes a paranormal investigative unit and has them step in shades of gray. It was interesting since the first two featured more black and white scenarios. Bonnie also has to figure out where her relationship with her boss is going, or better yet how she can keep it from going. It's funny how realistically Gilman portrays being in an awkward position. The last big change in the series is that instead of a one viewpoint first person POV there was a first person and then a couple third person POV's that showed up to show us what Bonnie couldn't see. At first it was jarring, but in the end it worked since it really was necessary to wrapping the story up.
