Arise - Tara Hudson I was really disappointed with the first half of this book. After the fabulousness of Hereafter I had high hopes of Arise. The first half fell into the YA trope of I have to leave everyone I love for their own good. It's a viable thought, but as a primary mover of the novel it falls flat. The second half makes up for the worst of the first, but it still doesn't really match the interest of the first. Hopefully Elegy gets back to it's roots.
