The Host - Stephenie Meyer I liked the Host better then I liked Twilight. Not surprising considering Meyer's had had a whole series and countless feedback to improve her craft. I loved the journey of Wanderer and how she got to find what she'd been looking for for so long. The one thing that bugged me (and one of the things that bugged me about Twilight) was how passive Wanderer is. Despite all the places she goes, things she does, and challenges she overcomes she still looking for someone to rescue her. That's a little bit hypocritical of my, but the truth.
