On the Edge - Ilona Andrews This was a super cute paranormal romance. The paranormal edge was set with a really cool idea, being that there is our world, then there's a magical world that mirrors it, then there is someplace in between called the Edge where squats our heroine. The romance was fabulous as it actually had some romance that wasn't sex and interesting hangups that felt realistic to me. I will say that in this book Ilona Andrews actually misteps (gasp!) with the hero. Declan was supposed to be "pretending" to be a douche but it really didn't come up that way so it kept me from getting into the romance angle. Aside from that it was great and way too short.
