Archon - Sabrina Benulis When I first saw the cover I thought 'This book is going to be great!'. While the cover might look really cool, when you look closer you see it's also odd and vaguely creepy. That's a really good way to sum up this book. The narrator was in a really odd place and everyone she met came across as just bizarre. Every time I thought I was getting a handle on this book something even weirder would pop up. On top of that the writing was really difficult to follow. The funniest part was the traditional high school/mean girl dynamics that were spot-welded on top of a more traditional gothic/horror plot line.
