Glamour in Glass - Mary Robinette Kowal Glamour in Glass is a sequel to a magic infused Jane Austen homage. I was interested to see how that would work out since Jane Austen and most of her contemporaries didn't do sequels. Apparently after a woman was married she wasn't interesting anymore. Being a little bit more modern Robinette-Kowal continues the story of her Jane by keeping the romance sweet and adding some political tension. Now it's not just about the dastardly villains in a sleepy backwater in England. There are Bonapartists! It's fun, quick, and just a little educational. You should totally give it a go.
