The Art of Wishing really is just my type of book. I didn't want to love it as much as I did. I wanted to be the stone cold reviewer who could pick out the mistakes even while adoring it. Turns out I'm not that girl. Each time I caught what I thought were major problems it turned out to be absolutely necessary. I specially loved how Ribar handled the stakes of the story. The things that Margo and Oliver went through to get to the end were so perfectly molded to them. It felt like a real challenge for them to reach some kind of happy ending. Everything isn't wrapped up and I look forward to seeing that happen in the next book.
