I actually stayed up until two in the morning to finish Succubus On Top. I really love books but the only other time I've done that in the last year is with Succubus Blues. Something about Richelle Mead's books is more addicting then crack. That being said, was it really a good book? I'm not sure. Georgina (the heroine) has more angst then most of the teens I read about and the plot tends to be very secondary to the do's and don'ts of her struggling relationship with writer Seth. Also Georgina is portrayed as a suffering saint despite the fact that she's been a succubus for over a millennium. Plus the was Mead portrays sex is kind of bizarre. Since I'm not all that in to reading about other people having sex the good sex/bad sex dynamic that Mead is writing about it off putting. So.... do I read the next one? We'll see.
