A Memory of Light - Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson What a fitting ending to a series. I've never been this satisfied by a final book in a fantasy series. There's a whole lot of tears (it is the end of the world after all) but it never felt oppresivley dark. I was never crushed under the weight of the tone. There were so many moments of awesome that I couldn't count them if I tried. There are still some issues that I struggled with throughout the whole series (Jordan's weird views on women, anyone?) but you just gotta brush it off. If you've stuck with the series this long it will all be worth it. I couldn't be happier.
