This may look like an innocuous paperback, short and easy to read with a few interesting cliff notes, but don't be fooled. Arrival City is a monster in a mouse's jacket. There is so much research in this book! It was hard for me to get my mind around all the different people, places, and numbers presented. Normally that would have been a turn-off for me but Arrival City presented it in such a way that it just felt like good research. I've been reading a lot of books about global poverty and it's effects on our world and Arrival City gave me a lot to chew on.
